The Cost of Change

by Feb 16, 2023

.Poorly designed, led, delivered change can cost you big time.

It will cost you in financial returns, market competitiveness and most importantly, it has major costs to your people.

Building change capability is a very effective antidote to the cost of poorly designed, led and delivered change.

But here’s the thing, it’s not a miracle cure.

There will be a lag before you see an uplift in organisational performance, and this will come before you see agility gains.

If you put in the work, you will see the benefits over time.

? An important point to note – change capability is not the same as change capacity. I’ll pick up on that next time.

In the meantime, over at the Agile Change Leadership Institute we have created a Cost of Change Checklist. You might find it useful in building a case to invest in change capability.

Mindfulness is simply a conduit to better data processing
